Harris Academy Chobham is proud to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 students as they receive their GCSE results today. 

This year’s results reflect not only academic progress but also the strength of our school community, built on the ICHEER values of Inclusion, Honesty, Excellence, Empathy, and Respect.

Overall, 64% of students at Chobham achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and maths, and 47% achieved a strong pass (grade 5+) in these core subjects.

In subject-specific highlights, students excelled in biology, chemistry, physics and Mandarin, with over half of all grades awarded at grade 7 or above—well above last year’s national averages and a reflection of our students’ curiosity and passion for learning.

We are especially proud of the exceptional achievements of several students whose results truly exemplify our values:

• Jai, who achieved an extraordinary seven grade 9s, demonstrating academic excellence and personal drive;
• Emon (pictured below), who earned five grade 9s and three grade 8s, showing consistent effort and respect for learning;

• Ralph (pictured below), who secured four grade 9s and four grade 8s, reflecting his honesty and determination;

• Eabha who achieved five grade 9s and four grade 8s, balancing high achievement with genuine empathy;
• Jimmy (pictured below), who received four grade 9s and three grade 8s, a testament to his resilience and commitment;

• Ho Sum, who has celebrated five grade 9s highlighting his quiet pursuit of excellence.
